Individual Therapy

Life can feel heavy when anxiety, depression, relationship stress, or cultural pressures make it hard to move forward. You may be navigating loss, or the emotional load of caring for everyone but yourself. Therapy is a place to breathe, think clearly and reconnect with the parts of you that feel strong, capable, and deserving of peace. You don’t have to hold everything alone — together we’ll create a path that feels grounded, meaningful and truly your own.

I offer a warm, supportive, and culturally aware space where you can explore emotions honestly and at your own pace. My approach blends practical tools with deeper reflection, helping you manage anxiety, ease depression, process grief and strengthen relationships while building confidence and resilience.

I approach the experience as the beginning of a journey with the client to discover their goals for treatment, while on the way to learning healthy coping strategies, stress management and love of self.  Aware of the proven value of the arts (film, music and readings) are incorporated into the counseling experience.

What to Expect in Your First Session

New clients can expect that the first session will be heavily focused on completing the administrative task of intake, while "telling their story.”  You’ll also get to know a sense of me as I make an effort to spark the counseling experience with joy.  I might even sing!
